TO:      Colleagues and Friends

As world-class providers of food and fuel, agribusiness is a driving economic force right here in the Heartland. With the rapid development of the biofuels industry, a large, new user of the nation’s grain supply has emerged.

And it faces one the era’s greatest challenges – how will agriculture produce enough grain to nurture a growing, worldwide demand for both food and fuel uses?

Please join us in Kansas City, MO, on October 23 for a discussion of these far-reaching developments.  Some of the nation’s pre-eminent experts and luminaries will share their views and perspectives. The Food and Fuel Forum is the first of its kind sponsored by the Heartland’s own agricultural businesses, leaders, and supporters.  It promises to be one of the most significant events for agriculture in the region.

Best regards.

Bob Petersen, Chairman

Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City
